About Me

My name is Zara Hodgson and I'm a photographer passionate about authentic and unique representation. 

I like to focus on faces, expressions and human experiences. From studying International Development with Media, I saw how communities and marginalised groups were often stereotyped, misrepresented or not represented at all and instead spoken for. This inspired me to create my own platform and space for hidden voices to be heard and to prioritise ethical and authentic storytelling. 

The number 7 is also the number of completion in the Bible, representing following through of bringing unique stories to the surface.
